Robert O'Connor, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. O’Connor joined Loftware in March 2010. With over 25 years of experience in executive management of software companies, he brings a proven track record of success in company leadership, market development, sales execution, product strategy, software development, strategic partnerships and company funding. Before joining Loftware, Mr. O’Connor served as President and CEO of Softrax Corporation, an enterprise software company he led from inception to acquisition. Under his leadership, Softrax became the leading provider of billing and revenue management applications to high technology companies worldwide. Prior to Softrax, Mr. O’Connor was CEO of RBS Group, Inc., a software and services company that grew to become IBM’s largest business partner in New England. At that time, he was honored by IBM as one of the “Top 50 CEOs” among its business partners. He has also been recognized for his achievements and contributions with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist Award. Mr. O’Connor is a graduate of Georgetown University and received his MBA from the University of Connecticut. .
Brian Collin, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Collin serves as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for Loftware. In addition to his responsibilities for corporate financial and legal functions, Mr. Collin oversees the Information Technology department as well as the Customer Service and Contract Administration organizations that manage customer relations, contract renewals, and software upgrades. Mr. Collin joined Loftware in 2000 as Controller, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2002. Prior to joining Loftware, Mr. Collin worked in public accounting with Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker (BDMP), the largest regional accounting and business advisory firm in New England providing clients with tax, business advisory, corporate recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions and business valuation services. Before joining BDMP, Mr. Collin worked with Macdonald, Page & Co., providing clients with audit and tax services. Mr. Collin has a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance from the University of Maine.
Michael Rennell, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development
Mr. Rennell joined Loftware in 2009 as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development. He brings with him over 25 years executive management experience in the enterprise software and service industry. Mr. Rennell is responsible for the development and execution of the worldwide sales and business development strategies. In this role, he manages both the direct and indirect sales force, including a channel/partner organization responsible for resellers, system integrators, OEMs, and strategic business partnerships. Previously, Mr. Rennell was Managing Partner at Lighthouse Virtualization Group, focused on the delivery of comprehensive Virtualization Infrastructure solutions after leading sales, marketing, and business development for Foedus group and participating in their acquisition by VMware. Additionally, he has held global senior executive and key management positions resulting in increased revenue and profit growth at Linedata Services, Newmarket International, NEC, ComputerVision and Symbol Technologies. Mr. Rennell holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Framingham State University.
Josh Roffman, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management
Mr. Roffman brings more than 15 years of marketing and product management experience to his role as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. He is responsible for corporate marketing functions including marketing programs, communications and defining and overseeing the execution of Loftware’s product strategy. Prior to joining Loftware in June 2010, Mr. Roffman served as Vice President of Products at AFS Financial Solutions where he was responsible for driving product strategy, positioning, and marketing programs. As Director of Product Management at Softrax Corporation, Mr. Roffman built the product marketing and management organizations and spearheaded the introduction of its next–generation enterprise revenue management solution. At Infoseek, an internet search engine pioneer, Mr. Roffman launched a business information product selected by Netscape as a “Premier Netcaster Channel.” Mr. Roffman earned his B.A. degree in Russian and Government & Law from Lafayette College.
Carol Mercer, Vice President of Administration and Human Resources
Ms. Mercer joined Loftware as Vice President of Administration and Human Resources in 1998 and is responsible for all of Loftware’s human resource development and management. This includes designing, planning and implementing all corporate wide human resource programs and policies including staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Ms. Mercer has made a significant contribution to the development of a customer–focused/employee–oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, teamwork, and high performance. Prior to joining Loftware, Ms. Mercer had a distinguished career in bank management as Vice President of Fleet Bank where she was responsible for business development, lending, branch management and staff development. She is a longtime member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
Michael Ward, Director of Technical Services
Mr. Ward brings more than 20 years of experience in the management of software projects, sales engineering, technical support, and professional services to Loftware. In his role as Director of Technical Services, he leverages his extensive knowledge of programming languages, databases, and platforms to manage the Pre–Sales, Professional Services, and Technical Support Engineering groups. Under his leadership, these groups work in conjunction to deliver solutions to Loftware customers world–wide by providing implementation, training, and technical services as well as 24x7 technical support. Prior to joining Loftware in 2005, Mr. Ward led the coordination of product marketing opportunities with engineering and development groups at Network Vision Software. Mr. Ward held senior roles in several companies including: Celus Fasteners Manufacturing, Eurotherm Gauging Systems, Measurex Systems, and Aeonic Systems Inc. Mr. Ward holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell.
Ravi Juneja, Director of Software Development
Mr. Juneja joined Loftware in 2008 and brought with him more than 17 years of software development and management experience. As Loftware’s Director of Software Development, Mr. Juneja leads the development and quality assurance teams responsible for delivering mission–critical enterprise labeling solutions. Mr. Juneja has an extensive background in project lifecycle and software development methodologies and a primary focus on the development of distributed systems using Java, J2EE, JDBC, JSP, EJB, JMS, Struts Framework (MVC), Spring, Hibernate and Web Services. Prior to joining Loftware, Mr. Juneja held leadership positions at Granite State Management and Resources and Kingway Material Handling Co. Mr. Juneja, who is a Certified Scrum Master, holds a B.S. degree in Physics and a Master's in Computer Science from Delhi, India, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
